My Creation

Journey.

My creation is a re-connection journey that creates the space for one to seek the wisdom that exists within and all around us in the natural world.

The first iteration was a slightly more serious approach, however I kept returning to my scoping phase document and my discovery phase Miro board to ensure that the design stayed in alignment with the purpose.

We perceive the world around us with our whole being, and I sought to design a practice that engages the left and right hemisphere's of the brain and all of the senses.

Embodied

Learning.

During the discovery phase I was captured by the concepts of embodied and experiential learning. Remembering the times when I played in the garden as a child, baking mud cakes in the midday sun, on hot rocks and then tasting my soil based delicacies. So much learning took place during this play.

This inspired me to move towards a more playful exploration, one that creates the space for us to probe with childlike curiosity, wonder and openness. An experience that invites us into an adventurous journey to have fun, to play, to use our whole selves to explore our whole universe. 

Personal

Exploration.

The vision is to create a deep re-connection practice that is modular, nested, adaptive to different contexts and can be self-driven. It needs to allow for a very personal exploration and also provide opportunities for connection with each other - for sharing and building community.

I want to build on the idea of learning from nature and explore learning AS nature and have chosen to bring a number of modalities together for a holistic, embodied learning experience.

The Future Vision. 

Cards & Journal.

The cards and journal-style guidebook published in print will be the physical format of this digital prototype enabling seekers to venture into nature without digital devices and with a beautiful artistically-crafted journal with prompts and guides to enhance the experience.

Nurtureship

An invitation to connect with me in one-on-one online or in-person sessions where we hold the space for a deeper exploration of our experiences during the re-connection practices, through sharing and reflection.

Reconnection

Immersions

Immersive nature experiences designed for deep connection to both inner and outer nature.  Explored with the intelligence of the whole being - mind, body and soul, in a small group setting where exploration is done individually and collectively.
